As an early teenager, I struggled with insecurities that lead to body dysmorphia & eating disorders. After almost 30 years of wishing my body looked different, I finally found solace in veganism & strength training. Just as I began to heal my relationship with my body, early menopause hit, followed swiftly with osteoarthritis & hypothyroidism.
I know what it feels like to not love your body & my mission is to make sure no woman ever feels that way. Hormones & medical issues have a huge impact on your fitness and not enough instructors acknowledge that. Leaving you feeling like you’re just not working hard enough.
